About
Many people assume that anything labeled “Christian” must be religious—but that’s not what defines our organization. At its core, 10 CAN stands for Hope (Christian), Excitement (Adventure), and Collaboration (Network). Hope is our most powerful weapon against despair and suicide, but it must be anchored in structure, growth, and sustainable development to truly last.
Do You Believe There’s a Cure for PTSD?
We didn’t—until recently. For years, Post-Traumatic Stress was considered one of the most complex challenges of the human mind. Traditional treatments often involved heavy medication, intense therapy, and advanced interventions. But as suicide rates among our nation’s warriors continued to rise, we knew something had to change. That realization gave birth to 10 CAN, Inc. - a one-of-a-kind nonprofit that bridges the gap between science and religion.
About 10 CAN, Inc.
Inspired by Outdoor Experience 4 All (OE4A) and Project Sanctuary, 10 CAN, Inc.—short for Christian Adventure Network—was founded by a wounded warrior to serve military and first responder families, women, and youth. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to suicide prevention, youth development, and conservation.
Our three primary modalities—outdoor recreation, education, and rehabilitation—empower individuals to rediscover purpose, restore families, and build perseverance. While faith-based, our approach is inclusive and non-denominational, helping every participant strengthen spiritual readiness. By addressing the mind, body, and soul, we offer a holistic and often exhilarating approach to post-traumatic growth. Healing can be fun when the battle’s already won.
Our Approach and Impact
Our approach is simple but transformative. Grounded in the principles of Saving Heroes by Dr. Matthew R. Burke, we believe that true recovery requires a personalized path—one that integrates nature, lived experience, and spiritual grounding.
At 10 CAN, the outdoors serves as both a sanctuary for healing and a classroom for life. Our action-oriented model offers programs that range from outdoor education and survival training to mentorship and family restoration. We partner with like-minded organizations nationwide to meet the diverse needs of warriors, women, and youth.
Our Mission
To research, develop, and deploy innovative mental health solutions for military and first responder families—past, present, and future. To foster organic healing through nature, peer support, and spiritual readiness, while preserving our natural resources and providing accessible, all-natural therapy experiences.

The Meaning Behind Our Name
The name “10 CAN” was divinely inspired. It represents ten essential elements of life—like spokes on a wheel—that must remain balanced for wholeness. When one spoke breaks, the entire wheel falters. Through God’s guidance, we help individuals restore balance using a straightforward, practical approach to healing.
Synergy and Partnerships
We’re proud to work alongside a diverse network of organizations, churches, schools, businesses, and individuals. These partnerships allow us to reach beyond boundaries—political, religious, and cultural—to serve where others cannot. Together, we provide life-changing outdoor experiences and build community-based healing ecosystems.
